You can only use one makeup item before leaving your house. What item do you choose?
Definitely Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess bronzer! I am religious about using sunscreen, which usually means I can’t get a tan, so Bronze Goddess always gives me a natural-looking glow/tan. I have been using it for over a decade and will never give it up! However, Glo Minerals Suede Matte Crayon in Crimson would come in a close second! Bright lips always add a glow to the face!
What type of beauty products do you use on a daily basis?
I am a believer of using all natural products, which isn’t exactly the easiest thing to do, but I discovered an app called Think Dirty that lets you know exactly what is in the products you use. I was appalled to find out that most of the products I used had carcinogens and other toxins, so I gave my bathroom shelf a makeover! I absolutely love One Love Organics Easy Does It Cleanser, One Love Organics Vitamin B Cleansing Oil and Makeup Remover and many of the Honest Company’s products. I feel so much better knowing I am using safer products, but, more importantly, I have had less breakouts and allergies since switching everything to natural!
When do you feel the most beautiful?
I feel the most beautiful when I am in black jeans and a t-shirt walking outside on a beautiful day!
In your opinion, is there too much pressure for women to look a certain way?
I definitely think there is too much pressure for women to look a certain way, but I think society is finally heading in a direction where people are accepting of different looks, shapes, sizes etc. I think that is a magical thing! Beauty comes in too many forms to count and women who ignore social pressures and just do themselves really inspire me.
