The definition of beauty: A combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight.
We all see things differently. We all have heard “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, which is a proverb meaning that beauty cannot be judged objectively, for what one person finds beautiful or admirable may not appeal to another.
Beauty has been perceived many ways over time. Centuries ago, women were considered sexy if they carried extra weight…now it’s the opposite. We are all beautiful beings…every flower, tree, animal, human, or cloud carries its own special contribution to the picturesque landscape of the whole.
Isn’t it fun that we all have a different view of what appeals to us and is beautiful? Embrace your own special gift and celebrate the beauty that is YOU…spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically! Focus on what you like best about yourself and then accentuate it.
