Patricia Ann Pease “Patsy Pease” was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She also studied and taught jazz dance while at University.
Pease’s first job was in the 1979 cult film He Knows You’re Alone. Following that she played Cissie Mitchell on Search for Tomorrow from 1979-1982.
In 1983, she left New York for Los Angeles and appeared in Roger Corman’s Space Raiders as Amanda. In 1984, Pease debuted as Kimberly Brady on Days of Our Lives. She won a Soap Opera Digest award for “Best Actress” in 1986. She and Charles Shaughnessy also won a Soap Opera Digest awards for “Best Super Couple” in 1986 and 1988.
In 1993, she went off contract with Days of Our Lives to raise her two sons. However, she has continued her role on Days of Our Lives on a recurring basis. After she was no longer on contract with NBC her work included four films: Two Shades Of Blue, Improper Conduct, Total Reality, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. She also had recurring roles on Young and the Restless and The Bay the Series.
Her role as Lola Baker earned her nominations for an Indie Series Award for “Best Guest Actress” in a Drama Series in 2015 and an Emmy Award for “Best Actress in Daytime Digital Drama” in 2016. She is also an accredited teacher for the American Film Institute and Screen Actors Guild Conservatory.

The 1940’s
What type of beauty products do you use on a daily basis?
I use a homemade scrub of baking soda and Cetaphil soap. Sometimes I mix in coffee grounds for circulation and a little coconut oil. I also use Skinceuticals CE Ferulic, Retin-A, and I’m trying out Laneige products right now.
How long does it take you to do your makeup?
10-15 minutes for going out during the day and 15-20 minutes for a night out
When do you feel the most beautiful?
I feel the most beautiful right after a heavy workout, when my face is flushed, eyes bright, and skin moist with sweat. It also makes me feel more alive because the blood is rushing precious oxygen throughout my veins and nourishing my body from within. I can waste my money on all sorts of outer products, but if I don’t eat right and exercise I will never feel full of vitality and THAT is beautiful!
If someone calls you beautiful, how do you react? Accept the compliment or deny it?
I say thank you. It is impolite to cancel out or reject someone’s kind gesture towards me. It’s like telling them they are wrong and have bad taste.
In your opinion, is there too much pressure for women to look a certain way?
Always (sigh). Women are even more of the culprit than men are.

Confidence and kindness
What advice would you give to a young girl on how to feel beautiful and confident?
Enjoy how your creativity makes you feel and the joy it gives others. Now that is beautiful!
